CLEARSTEM began with a question nobody in skincare wanted to answer honestly: what if the skin is not actually the problem?

We watched people do everything right. Building careful routines, seeing dermatologists, going on prescriptions, cutting out entire food groups, spending hundreds on topicals that worked briefly and then stopped. The frustration was not laziness or the wrong products. It was that the entire industry was treating a surface symptom of something happening much deeper.

Hormonal acne, cystic breakouts along the jawline and chin, flare-ups that tracked with your cycle, bacne that no body wash ever touched. These are not skincare failures. They are signals. Your hormones, your gut, your liver are asking for something that no cream can give them.

Our founders came from personal experience with hormonal acne and the exhausting loop of treatments that addressed everything except the root cause.
